There is also a chance you could get an Epic Rune. This means that every level 20 Warchief will drop at least a level 22 Rune or better. So if a Warchief is level 15 when he dies, the rune will automatically be upgraded to at least level 17. By default, killing a Warchief will grant a +2 level increase to the rune. The quality of the rune is based on the level of the target when it is killed, plus the way in which you go about preparing and executing the kill itself.
